This was harder than she had ever imagined. No matter how hard she tried, this 'fire' thing never seemed to catch on! Eventually, out of exsasperation and wearyness, Flamepaw plopped to the floor- quite frustrated. This didn't last for very long however, for in a moment or two later she was up and trying again. She had been keeping this rutine for days and it was fruitless. "WHAT ON EARTH DOES IT TAKE?" Flamepaw screamed into the moonlight sky.

"A lot moe patience than that!"
Remarked a some what smart-mouthed cat behind Flame. And no, she had not been there before, so don't worry about. Even as she spoke, she knew she was getting ahead of herself. For, hadn't she just recently discovered her own power? Light zipped around Flame in a neat circle, stopping quickly, and sittign, wrapping her tail around her paws, head tilted to teh side.
"What are you trying to DO, anyway?"

"Fire." Flamepaw hissed eraticly. "I'm. Trying. To. Make. Fire."
Who ever this cat was, apprentl they were special- how dare they have the right to mock her? How DARE they?
"And unless you have a better Idea of how to waste my time-" As her voice hightend, and anger grew, the fire from her tail fianlly burst forth. It was very small and burned out a second later- but none the less, she had done it! But it had taken alot out of her...

The cat looked very pleased with herself. She was, of course. After all, it was through anger that the cat had made teh fire. Goodness knows it didn't take her THAT long- but then again, she hadn't tried. Maybe that was the moral of the story.
"I think you're trying too hard."
She informed the other cat, nodding a bit, very serious.
"I'm Light by the way. I'm fast!"
She added cheefully, making another circle around Flame in a mili-second. This was quite fun, once you got down to it.

Flame didn't try to follow her as she ran around. Maybe most cats would have tried to keep thier eyes on hers, but Flame had her mind focused on how her power worked. It was as if she wasn't able to give her all into it.
"Trying to hard, not trying enough..." she mumbled to herself. "Well, since your so pleased with yourself 'Light', why don't you show off as you do something constructive."

"Yeah?"
Asked Light, frowning a bit, which was a comical expression for the little cat. Her brow furrowed, her head titled, and her ears flicked as she gazed intently at Flame. She wondered if maybe Flame didn't like her. Actually, if she didn't, it wouldn't be much of a suprise. A lot of people yelled at her, and then she got rather emotional...
Past problems. That was her excuse for being a retarded emotional jerk. Her past. Her mother. Her family.
"And what am I supposed to do?"

"I'm sure there is something. Even if there isn't, practice your running on some helpless mouse." Just leave me alone!!
Flamepaw (as Fathie said) disliked Light for two reasons. 1.) She had conqued her power already and was gloating. 2.) She had taken the glory of Flame fianlly getting SOMTHING from her elemental power. To be honest, Flame pretty much hated everyone. Well, maybe not hated, but she was yet to find someone she liked, much less cared about. She was always the laughing stock of everyone else, or maybe the target of whom the released thier fury- even if she hadn't caused it. It had turned her into a snippish character yes, but that didn't give her the right to snap at Light the way she did. She knew that much, but she wouldn't admitt it. Admitting that would mean admitting defeat- and that was the one thing that she could never handle...never...

"What elders?"
Asked Light sarcastically. This cat was old fashioned, wasn't she? All the elders were warriors, or warrioresses, pretty much. They went through that until they died. And, as the RPer stupidly forgot to put in the rules, this wasn't a warriors RPG. But that was okay. It was all good. She would fix it tomorrow.
"I'd rather hang with someone my own age, anyway, thanks, and all the rest of them are dimwits. HOnestly, maybe I should go to Banished Memories... There I KNOW That I'd be able to do something useful... Even if Faith IS really scary."
She was monologing, and she knew it. Deal with it. She had heard lots of tales from teh loners about both those places, and she wasn't sure which one she'd prefer. The so-called 'good' one, lead by a light-hearted leader, who hated the opposer, or the so-called 'evil' ones, lead by a dark, strong-hearted, strong minded cat, black as teh shadows, with wings of daemons... IT was actually a choice for her.

((Yeah, sorry. Read it and Forgot on the 'all about DOV' thing....^_^)) She had herd of the place, but as for now she had no interest in it. The last thing she wanted to do is go to a place for more power-cats to scorn her. She had herd very little of other places, becasue most of her time (if she could help it) was spent by herself. But maybe there were other kinds of chracters there- someone who had fire, adn would help her with it. HEr own leader, apparently, had no interest in her- "Thanks for the tip." She hissed. She had to go meet this other clan for herself...maybe she would be better off there.
