He stepped into the dew. The laughing Mists, it was called. Laughing? He found nothing funny about it. Then again, his sense of humor was rather spoiled, left to rot. He found humor in his own way, in sacrasim, death, decay pain, the kind of funny that makes you wonder if the person laughing has gone insane. Then again, he COULD'VE gone insane, and no one would've known it. He was the only one here... No one else... For now.
His black paws, striped with white down the middle, found themselves onto his special stepping stones. The ones that only he knew about. The mist falling onto him caught in his whiskers, and brushed against his nose, leaving a cold wet spot, like a shadow of his heart. Of his very presense on this earth. He was a cold, wet spot. But a cold wet spot that would be going places, when he found the right person. A person of power, of beauty. Someone that made up for all his weaknesses, and took them away, cancelled them out... someone that cancelled HIM out...
Rabbit's furry side brushed against hard, cold, damp stone, and he knew he could go no further into the darkness. His special stones were getting farther and father apart, and now there was nothing but a small cave, th entrance only large enough for a cat about his size. He lifted a paw in hestiancy for a moment, a frown creasing his face, white and black mixing together, for just a moment, as his storm-cloud eyes clouded over. Should he go further, or turn back, go back to familiar hard ground? Already his paws were half-submerged in the cold, icy water. Could he do it?
Of course not. He was not named Rabbit for nothing. Hesitating no longer, the cat turned with a great sweep of his skimpy tail, and leapt back onto each rock, until he landed not-too-gracefully on the short. Turning around again, breathing in the scents of rock, and undisturbed peace, he let out a small sigh, and gazed back in the direction he had just come, the white tip of his tail twitching ever so slightly. This failure of courage, this draw he had to comfort, it was like a reflection of the past, and foreshadow of his future.
Wimpy.

Ensom's originally ginger pelt had camaflauged in with the white fog, making him nearly invisible. His eyes matched hsi pelt, and came as close as he could to the cat without knocking the frightend chicken off his feet. "What is chasing you?" He asked smoothly, calmy and his voice was as if it was the voice of the very mists itself.

"Shut up."
Mumbled Rabbit, without even looking around to see who was behind him. He didn't even have the guts to say it properly, his voice came out as more of a embarassed mumble, than a growl, like it was supposed to be. He scuffed his right paw against the ground, and heaved a small sigh, his black body and white stripes inflating, then sinking back, transforming him back into his very skinny self. His ears twitched slightly, and tears stung his eyes, but he held them back. Why did everyone make fun of him? But they wouldn't. Not after he found someone strong.
Someone who would be his master.

"Each to their own..." The tom mewed to himself. Then, speaking to he cat infront of him again, he said, "To be honest, I was not mocking you. Well, no matter. It's after-paw now, past is past. Would you mind telling me why you have traveld this far? I do not favor these places, but as usual, my curiosity got the best of me and I followed you. My apologies if I angerd you."

"Because I felt like it."
Snarled the tom, this time a bit more agressivly. He looked up, angrily staring into his opposer's eyes, a hard gaze in his own. He switched his tail a few times, letting his four quite small, slightly dull fangs show. They were a threat, none the less.... To a squirrel. He made a sharp spitting sound from the back of his throat, before letting everything go. Just liek that. He was scared to fight.

Ensom took a good look at the cat before him. He didn't really care what the chicken was doing, he was no htreat- but he wanted know the fur patterns. Then, after a long moment of study, Ensom closed his eyes and changed the color of his fur to match Rabbit's. The voice was a little harder, and he made it a bit deeper to make it easier to handle. And although his figure and voice seggested Rabbit, he kept his personality in his choice of words. "Determination is overcome by fear, anger and hatred. But when all three come together, a new strenth comes through, and destroys all in it's path. Then, others come to fear, get angry toward, and to hate the one who destroys, and soon willl be destroyed." How that ws supposed to help Rabbit was beyond him. He just thought those were good words to say, so might as well say them.

OOC: Lmao.
Rabbit stared in shock at the cat as he changed into an adult form of him, but quickly closed his mouth, as it seemed liable to fall off at that particular moment, if he didn't. He was on the verge of lying, and saying, 'I can do that too!' when the cat began to speak again. Blah blah blah, determination, blah hate, blah... something something something. He heard the words, but didn't bother to remember them. Nor did he understand what they ment.
"Uh... Yeah."
He muttered, blinking. He still didn't know the cat's name, and that bothered him, if only a little. Whenever he wanted to tell Rabbit, it was okay with him.

Turning back to his ginger form, he sighed a bit, tierd, and walked past the small cat. He headed to the place Rabbit ran from, not really caring about he cat at all. Rather, he had his own things to do, like gather some of this swamp for this other cat. How he had gotten himself twisted in that WIT's mess, he'll know later on, for the master of the tom is simply comming up with the idea now. Using hte mist like a water foutain, Esom 'drank' his fill of the discusting mist. It was a difficult thing, but he had to figure out how to carry this water... "Maybe I can use this reed..."

((I have no clue. Think of something random for Rabbit to do. Like, make him sound smart or something?))

"Use it to stick it up your butt."
Muttered Rabbit, under his breath, so that no one could hear it except him. Not that there was anyone around except that other cat, of course, and who cared about him? Rabbit, did. No, wait. That wasn't true. Rabbit didn't care about the other cat, he cared about what power that other cat might have. And now he considered taht.. Maybe this new cat wasn';t so bad after all. Walking past his opposer quickly, Rabbit muttered something that sounded somewhat like this, to get Esom's attention.
"Well, he doesn't matter anyway, not in the face of the Master Plan."
Note the capitals. What plan? None. Rabbit was tryig to sound smart.. Which wasn't goign to happen soon.

Master Plan? Intreguing. A kit who can't bolt up the courage to go exploring has a master plan. Well, since Esom wasn't much of a disturbence to the kit, he decided to be one- plan or not. "Here, be useful." Esom mutterd, taking hte reed and putting the thick slimy water in it. "Take this to Flame and Frost of Banished Memories when you get the chance. If I don't do anything for your plans, maybe they might." The chances? Minimal. But Esom figured, humor the poor defenseless kit. Besides, ever kit has thier 'plans' on getting thier berries...
